The second Erskine Williamson Day meeting took place over April 28-29th 2009. Recent CSEC research was presented through a series of talks and posters, and the plenary lecture on "High Pressure, Materials, and Energy" was given by Prof. Russell Hemley, Director of the Geophysical Laboratory, Carnegie Institution of Washington. The event was rounded off with a buffet dinner in KB House.
