Two CSEC members have been elected Fellows of the Royal Society of Edinburgh (March 2006). Prof. Paul Madden (Professor of Physical Chemistry and Director of CSEC) and Prof. Paul Attfield (Chair of Materials Science at Extreme Conditions) have become Fellows of the Royal Society of Edinburgh.
