CSEC is pleased to announce that Malcolm McMahon, Professor of High Pressure Physics, has been elected as a Fellow to the Royal Society of Edinburgh. 

He is one of 54 new Fellows in the RSE's 2014 intake.

The Royal Society of Edinburgh was established in 1783.  Unlike similar organisations in the rest of the UK, the RSE includes people from a wide range of discipplines - science & technology, arts, humanities, social science, business and public service.
