Duddell Medal and Prize for CSEC Chairman (November 2006). Prof. Richard Nelmes FRS (Professor of Physical Crystallography and Chairman of CSEC) has been awarded the 2007 Duddell Medal and Prize by the Institute of Physics for "pioneering new techniques and instrumentation that have transformed high-pressure structural science, including the production of quantitative diffraction data that can be analysed to pressures beyond a megabar."
