EPSRC grant to build the next generation hydrothermal pressure cells for synchrotron diffraction

EPSRC grant to build the next generation hydrothermal pressure cells for synchrotron diffraction. Christopher Hall and Nicola Meller have been awarded an EPSRC grant to build hydrothermal cells for the new multi-pole wiggler 6.2 RAPID2 station at Daresbury Synchrotron Radiation Source. The cell will be used for in-situ diffraction of mineral/water samples at temperatures of up to 300 C and pressures of up to 500 bar.
