Blue Skies and Fruit Pies (February 2010). CSEC held the event organised by Dr. Jenny Rodgers and Prof. Colin Pulham (School of Chemistry) to look at blue skies research across the subjects which are represented in CSEC (Chemistry, Physics, Biology, GeoSciences and Engineering). This event was part of a public engagement project called The Big Squeeze. As we enjoyed out tasty fruit tarts we heard about a huge range of topics from ice friction and bobsleighs to the massive biodiversity that lurks deep within the oceans!
