Dr. Stephen Moggach (School of Chemistry) is to receive the 2010 CCDC Chemical Crystallography Prize for Younger Scientists (February 2010). The prize recognises Stephen's significant contributions to development of high-pressure techniques in chemical crystallography, and also some specific chemical results that have emerged recently through application of these techniques, such as Moggach, Bennett & Cheetham, Angew. Chem. Int. Ed. (2009), 48, 7087-7089. The prize will be awarded in April during the BCA Spring Meeting in Warwick.
