EPSRC Leadership Fellowship for Dr Eugene Gregoryanz (July 2011). Eugene Gregoryanz has been awarded a 5-year EPSRC Leadership Fellowship for a programme of research on 'Synthesis and Studies of Novel States of Matter at Extreme Conditions', with a value of £1.1M. The competition for these fellowships is very intense. The main aims of the research are the synthesis and study of novel exotic quantum states and quantum liquids; of high-pressure high-temperature hot liquids; and of super-conducting, super-hard and hydrogen rich materials.
