Edinburgh recognition for the Director of the Geophysical Laboratory (May 2008). Dr. Russell Hemley, Director of the Geophysical Laboratory, Carnegie Institution of Washington, has been inducted as a Corresponding Fellow of the Royal Society of Edinburgh on 2 May 2008.
