CSEC would like to congratulate Professor Paul Attfield on his election as a Fellow to the Royal Society (FRS). 

This prestigious organisation was established in 1660.  Proffessor Attfield is one of 52 Fellows elected to the Royal Society in 2014.  Paul is a Chair of Materials Science at Extreme Conditions and the Director of CSEC.
