Dr. Olga Degtyareva is featured in the new Royal Society website (November 2010). Olga is featured in the new Royal Society website of science teaching resources launched earlier this week. Nine different areas are covered and in each case there is a link to a modern scientist active in the respective area. As the Royal Society Dorothy-Hodgkin Fellow, Olga was invited to participate in creating a webpage about her work in CSEC. Based on this, she now plans to produce a popular lecture about high-pressure science in collaboration with Dr. Jenny Rodgers and BigSqueeze of CSEC aimed at school children.
