Juri Grin is a distinguished scientist in the field of intermetallic materials. He is a Director of the Max-Planck-Institut für Chemische Physik and his group focusses on preparation of new intermetallic phases, the understanding of their crystal structures, their chemical and physical behavior, as well as on the development of the necessary experimental and theoretical methods.
